Terms and Conditions for subscribers
The subscribers of Certificate Authority of MOI (hereinafter referred to as "the Authority") refer to the individuals specified in the Certificate Subject Name issued by the Authority. With regard to Natural Person Certificate issued by the Authority, the subscribers refer to the citizens over 18 with household registration in R.O.C.

Subscriber's Obligations

  • The subscriber should observe relevant provisions specified in Certification Practices Statement (hereinafter referred to as "the Guideline") of the Authority and ensure the accuracy of the information supplied.
  • After the application examined and the certificate issued by the Authority, the subscriber is obliged to accept the certificate according to the provision of Section 4.3 in the Guideline.
  • Accepting the certificate issued by the Authority implies that the subscriber has confirmed the accuracy of the certificate contents and shall exercise the certificate subject to the provision of Section 1.3.7 in the Guideline; it is mandatory for the subscriber to notify the Authority voluntarily if there is any mistake in the certificate contents.
  • The subscriber should preserve and exercise the certificate IC card properly.
  • The subscriber shall suspend, recover, revoke or reapply for the certificate subject to the provisions of Section 4.4 in the Guideline; the subscriber is obliged to notify the Authority immediately if he/she intends to revoke the certificate due to any private Key information disclosed or missed. The subscriber should be liable for any legal liability incurred from exercising the certificate before alteration.
  • The subscriber should choose safe computer environments and reliable application systems carefully. If any computer environment or application system violates the interests of the Relying Parties, the subscriber shall be liable for the liabilities himself.
  • If the certificate fails to be exercised regularly, the subscriber should look for other ways fulfilling due legal acts to others as soon as possible and shall not defend against the third parties in respect of operation failures
