What to do if your IC card number is different from that on the receipt?
  1. There are three ways for you to inspect whether the IC card number is the same as the number on your receipt, see below:
    • Check by yourself if the IC card number is the same as the number on your receipt.
    • If you have not installed the card reader but you have checked to publish your certificate during application, please go to the website: http://moica.nat.gov.tw (Certification Operation/Certificate Issuance Query) and enter your name, card number and email address. The system will automatically match whether the card number is the same.
    • If you already have installed your card reader, go to the website: http://moica.nat.gov.tw (Certification Operation/View IC Card Data) to check whether your IC card number is the same as that on your receipt.
  2. If the card number is inconsistent, this card will be invalid. You must go back to the household registration office to apply for a new IC card. (Please make online reservation before application for a new certificate IC card.)
