How to apply for Interior Ministry CA secure and confidential API?
  1. Step 1: Fill in the Application Form online. Ask Application Agencies/Units to fill the application form.
  2. Step 2: Submit the official document to the audit counter. Upon completion, print out the “Secure and Confidential Function API Application Form” and the “Confidentiality Nondisclosure Agreement,” and then submit the official documents to the audit counter.
  3. Step 3: Reply on application audit results. The audit counter will reply the application agencies/units in official documents and send a copy to ChungHwa Telecom Data Communications Branch.
  4. Step 4: Assign and download account and password. Upon approval of application audit, the account and password for API standard version will be sent to you by email.
  5. Step 5: Download API standard version. Upon receipt of your account and password, go to website: http://gpkiapi.nat.gov.tw/ to download API standard version.

    NOTE:
    ※ Application systems of the Application Agencies/Units must inspect the various authentication items in accordance with “Public Key Processing Security Check Table” (PDF file) to ensure your system security.
    ※ The Secure Cryptographic Interface standard version shall be used only for applicable projects as stated in the application form and shall not be used in any other projects.
    ※ The standard version Secure Confidential Function database is owned by the Interior Ministry.
Where shall the official API application documents be sent to for auditing?
The official API application documents should be sent to the Interior Ministry CA Registration Counter. The address is: “Interior Ministry Information Center, 4 Lane 469, Songjiang Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei City.”
What to do if application for API audit is approved and no account and password received?
If audit is approved but API account and password not received, please dial 02-2344-5012.
