The "Ministry of the Interior Certificate Authority Certificate Practice Guide Revisions 1.8" has been approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs since August 25 of 2015 (Case No. 10402423020). In accordance with this Certificate Authority Practice Guide Specifications, MOICA has to announce it as we now publish it on our web site for public inquiry. The scope of this revision includes (A)Open up MOICA’s application range, but restrictsits purpose of usage only to identification and data protection. It specifies that the credentials users and credentials trust are to bear the risks associated with credentials used in electronic trading behavior. (B) To cope with the Multi-faceted Carrier Program, restrictions on carrier patterns will lifted (not limited to the IC card patterns). Individual's credentials can be stored simultaneously in different forms of the carrier while providing online application mode to validate credentials as the basis for identity check and confirmation. |
