Subject MOICA IC card issuance fee will drop to NTD$ 250 on April 1st, 2013

    To comply with the Legislative Yuan’s 2013 annual general budget resolution requirements for the central government, the Ministry of the Interior from the Citizen Digital Certificate IC card fee lowered to NT $ 250 from NT $ 275 April 1, 2013.
    For government services to be more friendly and considerate to the public, from Feb. 22, 2013, the convenience stores’ multimedia information workstations were empowered to provided with some popular public services, including the "Electronic Land Transcript Download and Printing", "Household Registration Transcript Application Submission", "National Pension Payment Proof Printing" and "Health Insurance Payment Proof Printing”. The Ministry of the Interior encourages people to apply an MOICA to enjoy he widespread localities of the convenient stores and its 24-7 services.
    During the Income Tax filing season, people may use MOICA to test run or file their income taxes and make payments online. They may also use MOICA to download their deductibles, including Insurance fee, house loan interest payment, education tuition, medical expenses, birth allowance, donations, disaster loss, and special deductibles for the handicapped.
