Date: Mar. 30th Venue: MOTC GIS Convention Center (3rd Fl., No. 24, Sec. 1, Hang-zhou S. Rd., Taipei) Goal: This annual event is to promote PKI-based (Public Key Infrastructure) digital certificate by Ministry of the Interior, also known as MOICA, as internet ID for people. Because of the secure feature, it has served as an infrastructure for the e-Government. With MOICA, people may access to the government’s around-the-clock services from anywhere through the Internet. There have been more than 45 million entries authenticated by the online application services with MOICA. To further maximize the utilization of the over 1.8 million MOICA card holders, Ministry of the Interior has held this conference each year since 2006. Participants of the event are from application developing organizations, domestic and foreign scholars, and award-given applications’ representatives.
