To harness the popularity of prevailing and all-day services of the convenient stores, the e-Government has launched a 3-month trial run for the public to download and print their Land Registration Electronic Transcripts in some convenient shops with citizen digital certificate as another 24-7 e-Gov Service.

It’s really handy for people without a printer at home. They may first apply online at the National Land Registration Transcript System (http://land.hinet.net), then go to a nearby convenient shop and operate the Multimedia Workstation there with the citizen digital certificate and get the hardcopy of the Land Registration Transcript at 2 NTD, virtually the charge for paper and ink.

After the trial run (the first phase), it not only will involve the rest of the shops, but also if everything goes smoothly as expected, the second phase procedure might simplify into one-stop convenient store service with the application, payment, and hardcopy all done in one place.

The trial run shops are as follows:
Name/Number of Shops / Availability
7-11(IBON) / 4,781 / Available now in all shops with Ibon installed.
OK Mart(ok go) / 5 / Available now at five shops in Taipei City, namely Fu-lin, Zhi-dong at Shi-lin, Kuang-fu at Won-hua, Xing-long, and Ba-di-lu
Hi-life(life-ET) / 394 / Available at August 15, check the Hi-life website for a detailed roll.
