Go to the Interior Ministry CA website: http://moica.nat.gov.tw (Certification Operation/View Certificate IC Card Data). Insert your IC card into the card reader and check the data (IC card number, name of publisher, name of card holder, valid period of certificate.)

If the IC card shows the subscriber name but cannot display it while viewing its contents, this happens when the subscriber name contains difficult characters that the system does not recognize. This will not affect use of the certificate on the internet. You are advised to check whether you can carry out the application services on applicable websites and that the certificate can be used in a normal way. If the certificate can be used in most cases but cannot use in certain application service, please check customer service of the various service units, or dial our toll free number 0800-080-117 for customer service.
