What are the minimum computer software specifications for installing a card reader?
It depends on your computer software platform in relation to your card reader. If you are using Microsoft Operating System, you are recommended to have Microsoft Windows 7 or IE Browser Version 11 or above.
Can we install our card reader with USB interface onto Windows NT 4.0?
Microsoft NT 4.0 does not support USB interface, you are recommended to buy card readers with RS232 interface.
What are the minimum computer hardware specifications for installing a card reader?
It depends on your computer software platform in relation to your card reader. If you are using Microsoft Operating System, you have to buy computer systems that are compatible with Intel Pentium II 200MHZ CPU or above and with at least 5MB hard disk storage space. You also need to connect to the internet. (To permit application services for the Citizen Digital Certificate, your computer must have the capability to link to the internet.)
