非有效狀態的外來人口自然人憑證，是否還可以使用？ Can an alien citizen natural person certificate in an invalid status still be used?
憑證需為"有效"的狀態，方能於一般的應用系統中使用，若憑證已不是"有效"狀態，IC卡所做的簽章便為無效，欲查詢憑證簽發情形，請至自然人憑證管理中心網站，網址：https://moica.nat.gov.tw 外來人口 / 憑證作業 / 查詢憑證簽發情況，依照說明輸入相關資料，查詢特定憑證之目前狀態及有效期限
The certificate must be in the “valid” status before it can be used in the general application system. If the certificate is not in the “valid” status, the signature generated by the IC card is invalid. To check the issuance status of the certificate, please go to the Natural Person Certificate Management Center website, website: https://moica.nat.gov.tw/ alien citizen/certificate process/ certificate query, follow the instructions to enter relevant information, check the current status and the validity period of a specific certificate.

為何在中國大陸無法連結MOICA專屬網站進行憑證之應用？ Why I cannot link to MOICA website for certificate application in Mainland China?
憑證使用於自由國家跨國網路間均無問題，但目前中國大陸境內網路上使用他國簽發之憑證時，是屬於違反法律之行為，將受到逮捕判刑，理由為『電子內文經憑證簽章加密後，大陸內部監視網站無法解讀其電子內文及控管該憑證之擁有者;為防止叛亂或違害其國家內文逃避安全檢查及監視，使用人若需使用他國簽發之電子憑證時，必須向大陸主管機關申請登記核准，否則將視同違反法律之行為。』
The certificate can be used in free countries and transnational networks without any problems. 若用戶申辦憑證時所填寫之電子郵件信箱，如因故無法收取憑證管理中心發送之憑證相關訊息(例如收信系統擋信等原因)，以致未能如期辦理相關憑證作業者，本憑證管理中心不負任何損害賠償之責。

外來人口自然人憑證可使用於哪些瀏覽器？ Which browsers can be used for the alien citizen natural person certificate?
目前內政部自然人憑證API(安全保密程式介面)支援的系統有Windows、Linux、Unix 發行的語言有C 與Java。故建議憑證使用者Microsoft Windows 尚有更新之作業系統以及Mac作業系統；瀏覽器IE11以上、Chrome、Firefox等操作系統使用，惟各機關開發之自然人憑證應用系統大部分僅支援Mircosoft環境，未來本部將於API教育訓練中加強宣導，期各機關多加利用，以開發適用於多種平台之應用系統。
