讀卡機安裝步驟? What is the installation procedure of the card reader?
請依讀卡機隨機附贈之驅動程式光碟片,及安裝說明書逐步進行安裝操作,因內政部憑證管理中心並不經營讀卡機之相關業務,如有任何安裝問題請洽詢讀卡機經銷商。
Please follow the driver CD and installation manual bundled with the card reader to perform the installation step by step. Since the Certificate Authority of MOI does not operate the card reader related business, please contact the card reader distributor for any installation problem.
憑證IC卡是否一定要配合讀卡機才可使用嗎? Must the certificate IC card be used in conjunction with a card reader?
因外來人口自然人憑證儲存於IC卡晶片上,所以必須與IC卡讀卡機相互配合才可以使用,讀卡機的功用是讀取憑證IC卡,就像光碟片需要光碟機一樣,憑證IC卡裡的憑證資料內容需藉讀卡機才可以讀取,並跟電腦應用系統整合使用。
Since the alien citizen natural person certificate is saved on the chip of the IC card, the certificate must be used in conjunction with the IC card reader. 請從個人電腦裡選擇『開始/控制台/系統/硬體/裝置管理員』,確認是否有『智慧卡讀取裝置(或Smart card reader)』,並查看讀取裝置是否有問號或驚嘆號,如有則表示未安裝成功,請將此裝置移除後再重新安裝驅動程式。
Please click “Start/console/system/hardware/device administrator” in your personal computer, confirm whether there is a “smart card reading device (or smart card reader)”, and check whether the reader has a question mark or exclamation mark. If yes, it indicates that the installation was not successful, please remove the device and then reinstall the driver.
讀卡機接收不到訊號? What should I do if the card reader cannot receive signals?
請用戶確認下列事項:
確認讀卡機是否安裝成功,可從個人電腦裡選擇『開始/控制台/系統/硬體/裝置管理員』,確認是否有『智慧卡讀取裝置(或Smart card reader)』,查看裝置是否有問號或驚嘆號,如有則表示未安裝成功,請您將此裝置移除後再重新安裝驅動程式。

依照各種形式讀卡機使用說明,確認燈號是否正常。

有無使用USB延長線,可能會因距離太遠而接收不到訊號。
Please check the following:
Check whether the card reader is installed successfully by clicking “Start/console/system/hardware/device administrator” in your computer and confirming whether the “smart card reading device (smart card reader” has a question mark or exclamation mark. If yes, it indicates that the installation was not successful, please remove the device and then reinstall the driver, and follow the instructions of different card readers to confirm that the light signal is normal. If you use a USB extension cable, you may not receive the signal due to a too-far distance.
